Thoughts on the game

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share how much I’ve been enjoying Ale & Tale. I first played it with friends before the big update, and now I’ve started a solo playthrough that’s been super fun. I’m currently only 5 achievements away from 100% completion!

The only one I’m holding off on is the Scarecrow boss—I’m saving that for last since I’m looking forward to it the most 😹. The others are some of the grindier ones like hosting 100 people and rescuing folks from orcs. Still, I’m loving the journey. Thank you to the devs for continuing to update and polish the game—it's genuinely one of the most charming and addictive games I’ve played in a while. :3

Some thoughts/suggestions:

Loot Crate/Barrel RNG – I’ve opened hundreds of these, and I still haven’t seen a lot of the cool decor items listed on the wiki (statues, potion tables, paintings, etc). It would be awesome if the drop rates were slightly more forgiving, or maybe if the loot was tied more clearly to specific actions or locations. Like:

• Fish paintings could be acquired from fishing

• Potion table, book stack from helping a wizard

• Statues from dungeon bosses or rare quests Just something to make the collection aspect more fun and less luck-based. Like for reference after many hours and hundreds of boxes and barrels I only found 3 different paintings (somehow keep getting same ones 3 vampire paintings, 2 kittens and 1 carp, 1 bear head) and other decorations seem to be super rare to come by (i only have a globe and 1 rug)

-Also pleaseeee include the herb wall hang in the future that would look so cute in the tavern 😭💕

Farming – I’ve grown so many potatoes and corn I’m starting to dream about them. 😅 It’d be amazing to see either: More crop variety or more optimized farming system (maybe give the Scarecrow some tasks if we pay them?)

More NPCs & Dialogue – The NPCs and their goofy/fun lines are one of my favorite parts of the game, so I’d love to see more of them in future updates. And maybe even some new areas to unlock down the line? Anyway, just wanted to share the love and toss in a few ideas. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Ale & Tale! 🍄
