I posted this on the steam page, but I think I’ll copy-pasta it here as well.

So, one of the things that I can see being a problem is how stale it gets once you've gotten all of your upgrades and gotten your tavern together. I think a good way to counteract that is to add more chores, and I've got a few ideas.

1: More customer interactions: Instead of them finding a seat at whatever table they want, maybe they wander in and need to be seated. And after they're seated and get their first round, maybe there's a chance they want another round, increasing the likelihood there's a party of drunks in your tavern.

2: Questgiver: So, we own a tavern now where adventurers come to relax. And sometimes we're forced to go out. But wouldn't it be neat if we could employ some of these adventurers?

3: Stables: What kind of tavern isn't in a town and has no place for travelers to rest their steeds? Just like the bedrooms, this could open up so many more chores like washing, feeding, and caring for customer mounts.

4: Buying upgrades rather than simply unlocking them: Progression is a little too fast right now, I think it would help if we had to buy the expansions as well as unlock them. Never underestimate the power of gold sinks.

Obviously, these are easier said than done. I do really enjoy the game as it stands right now, but there definitely needs to be more chore variety to keep the gameplay loop interesting.
