Difficulty customisation

I think having control over different aspects of the game would allow individuals and groups to make unique and interesting challenges by manipulating the difficulty settings.

Ease/Medium/Hard would be a great improvement what what is currently available, but taking it further and being able to fine tune elements I think could add some real depth to the game.

Off the top of my head I can think of:

  • Mobs hit harder

  • Player has less HP

  • Mobs spawn in bigger quantities and more frequently.

  • Shop items cost more

  • Crops take longer to grow increasing reliance of water and fertalisers.

  • More exp to level up to add more of a grind.

  • Visitors are less patient making owls less reliable for an excellent service.

  • Running costs - Tavern overheads can chip away at the bank balance while the tavern is not in service, which increases in cost are more areas of the tavern are unlocked.
