Actually pause the game when you pause

Would really like the game to pause when I hit the pause button, I have been attacked too many times while afk. It is also annoying when I'm doing either a night or day only quest (killing spiders for example) and I have to leave a moment only to find the time changed when I get back. I can see why this is needed on multi-player, but it would be awesome if the game would pause like any other game while playing alone if that is possible.
